Health and resource counting

UHC sits inside its own EloTiers ladder. Use the uhc ranking to see the current top players and inspect profiles for tier history, source coverage and the visible Elo behind the labels.

What UHC actually is

UHC removes natural regeneration, which changes every decision in the fight. Damage is permanent unless you spend a resource to undo it, so aggression has a real price and disengaging is frequently the correct play rather than a concession. Players who arrive from Sword often bleed rating here because the instincts that work in a regenerating fight are actively wrong.

How fights are decided

Golden apple timing is a resource decision, not a reflex: an apple spent to survive a bad trade is an apple unavailable for the one that decides the fight. Rod pressure lets you win ground without taking damage. Lava and water control shapes where the fight can happen at all, and counting the opponent's remaining health and resources is often worth more than any mechanical edge.

Reading the UHC ladder

The UHC ladder rewards decision quality over mechanics, which is why its top players frequently sit mid-table on Sword and vice versa. Reading the two ladders side by side is the fastest way to tell a mechanically strong player from a tactically strong one.

Committing to a chase after winning an exchange is the single most expensive error on this ladder, because the health you spend closing distance is health you cannot get back.

Ratings on this ladder are calculated only from matches recorded on connected servers and are kept separate from every other kit, so a position here says nothing about the same player's standing in Sword, Pot or UHC. Where a profile also shows a tier from an external community source such as MCTiers, PvPTiers or SubTiers, that value is labelled with its origin and is never merged into the EloTiers rating.
