Report a bug or suggestion
Tell us what broke on the website, in the mod or on a duel server, or what would make EloTiers better. Every report is read by a person before anything happens with it.
What makes a report useful
- Where it happened: the page URL, the mod screen or the command you used. The form adds the current page automatically when you send it.
- What you expected: the value, tier or behaviour you thought you would see.
- What you got instead: the error text, a screenshot description or the exact wording of a wrong number.
- Your setup: Minecraft version, mod version and, for duel servers, the server name.
Never include passwords, session cookies or mod tokens. Nothing in this form needs them, and the team will never ask for them.
How the feedback inbox works
The form talks to the EloTiers backend, which forwards the report to the team's issue inbox. The access key for that inbox stays on the server, so it is never exposed in the browser. Reports are stored as plain text, and duplicates sent within 24 hours are dropped by the inbox.
Every submission is reviewed by a person. Only an approved report becomes a task on the project board, and only then is work scheduled for it. A report is not passed to an automated agent on its own.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to send a report?
No. The form is public and asks only for a title and a description. A contact detail is optional and is only visible to the team, so you can stay anonymous if you prefer.
What happens to my report?
It is stored in the team inbox. A person reads it, tries to reproduce the problem and decides what to do. Approving a report creates a task on the project board; rejected reports are deleted.
Should I report a player or a server here?
No. Player reports, ban appeals and server rule violations belong to the server where the incident happened or to the EloTiers Discord. This form is only for bugs and ideas about the website, the mod and the EloTiers tooling.
Can I send the same report twice?
The inbox ignores an identical report sent within 24 hours, so a double click does not create two entries. If you want to add information, mention it in the description of a new report.
