Pot PvP
What this kit actually rewards
A quick read on the patterns and discipline that decide outcomes in this mode.
Pot PvP sits inside its own EloTiers ladder. Use the pot pvp ranking to see the current top players and inspect profiles for tier history, source coverage and the visible Elo behind the labels.
What Pot PvP actually is
Pot PvP replaces the attrition of a plain melee fight with a healing economy. Both players can undo damage, so the question stops being who lands more hits and becomes who can keep healing while still applying pressure. Fights run long, and the losing player is usually the one who runs out of pots rather than the one who was outfought mechanically.
How fights are decided
Splash routing is the central skill: where you throw determines how much of the healing you actually absorb and whether you keep facing your opponent while doing it. Refill timing decides whether you enter the late fight with resources. Aiming while healing is what separates players who can pressure through a heal from players who give up the initiative every time they drink.
Reading the Pot PvP ladder
The Pot ladder is more volatile than Sword because a single mistimed pot can end an otherwise winning fight. Expect larger rating swings and read a Pot position over a longer sample than you would a Sword position.
Healing too early wastes pots that are needed later, and healing too late loses the fight outright. Most rating lost on this ladder comes from the first mistake, not the second.
Ratings on this ladder are calculated only from matches recorded on connected servers and are kept separate from every other kit, so a position here says nothing about the same player's standing in Sword, Pot or UHC. Where a profile also shows a tier from an external community source such as MCTiers, PvPTiers or SubTiers, that value is labelled with its origin and is never merged into the EloTiers rating.
