Mace PvP
What this kit actually rewards
A quick read on the patterns and discipline that decide outcomes in this mode.
Mace PvP sits inside its own EloTiers ladder. Use the mace pvp ranking to see the current top players and inspect profiles for tier history, source coverage and the visible Elo behind the labels.
What Mace PvP actually is
Mace PvP introduces vertical play as a primary tool. The weapon rewards height gained before an engage and punishes a missed one severely, which makes it the most commitment-heavy kit on the platform. A single successful setup can end a fight, and a single failed one usually does the same in the other direction.
How fights are decided
Setting up burst means creating the height and the timing window at once, which usually requires reading the opponent's movement several steps ahead. Shield timing matters on both sides of the exchange. Punishing a missed engage is its own skill: the recovery window after a whiffed mace hit is the largest free damage opportunity in the game.
Reading the Mace PvP ladder
Expect the widest rating swings of any duel ladder here. Mace positions become meaningful only after a substantial number of recorded fights, so treat a small sample with caution.
Engaging without a guaranteed landing is what separates mid-table players from the top of this ladder. The correct default is to wait for the opponent to commit first.
Ratings on this ladder are calculated only from matches recorded on connected servers and are kept separate from every other kit, so a position here says nothing about the same player's standing in Sword, Pot or UHC. Where a profile also shows a tier from an external community source such as MCTiers, PvPTiers or SubTiers, that value is labelled with its origin and is never merged into the EloTiers rating.
